Cubs Offering Discounted Student Tickets For Games

The Cubs recently announced a new “Cubs U” ticket program for all college students. This new program can be accessed by any student over the age of 18 with a college email.

Wilbur Wright students can register by texting “CUBSU” to 88019 or by completing a registration form at www.cubs.com/cubsu. Then all you have to do is put in your student information and ccc email.

This program will be for select home games throughout the 2022 season. Prices range from $10 to $100 depending on the seats. Seats as low as 10 dollars can get you in the 200 section Terrace Reserve Outfield, while the more expensive option can get you an even nicer view by Infield Club Box at a discounted cost.

The tickets are only a last minute gameday thing though, so it won’t be something a student can plan ahead for, counting on getting tickets for a specific day. Once a student registers, they’ll receive text information to buy the discounted tickets for a game about 24 hours prior to first pitch.

This is definitely something to take advantage of! As the summer goes on and ticket prices rise at Wrigley field, students might find themselves saving even more money through CubsU. Hopefully we see a lot of sunshine and Wright students at the ballpark.
