About The 2022 NSLS Induction Ceremony

As the current NSLS Treasurer, working on the NSLS Induction Ceremony was an incredibly enriching experience! Working with Michelle Burke, the President, Glyshel Almodiel, the VP, and Jose Vidal, the Secretary, was a terrific experience, following Katie Ordinario’s, the Director of Student Activities, and Mary Kincaid’s, the Student Activities Coordinator guidelines! Listening to Michelle Burke’s speech and Glyshel Almodiel’s speech was fantastic with how much they had to share and what NSLS means to them! Seeing Peter Orozco’s message playing to everyone present, the Chapter Sucess Manager, and his overall impact on the chapter has been impeccable! His promotion is to appreciate and well-deserved for everything he has helped to accomplish and make happen! While there were not too many people, those who came mainly were with their parents, took many photos, and were incredibly proud of their children. Becoming inducted into NSLS is a challenging process requiring many steps and dedication. While the Wilbur Wright College’s chapter does not require a specific GPA requirement, it is still a lengthy and satisfying process, giving everyone a chance to complete everything needed to succeed. With COVID, it has been more than challenging to focus on such things for some, so seeing not too many come but still do is something I sincerely am thankful for. It was such an excellent experience, one to be proud of to have done and experienced!
