Wright’s women's volleyball kicked off their season with a 2-13 start. Coach Kayla Palmore said it’s hard to lose and it cannot change overnight but that for now they will focus on building team chemistry.
Nursing student Nazalia Giron, who is part of the team’s staff, reinforced what coach Palmore said about building team chemistry. The team is coming off a victory on Sept. 23 against Kennedy King College, a match where the Rams defeated Kennedy-King in all three sets 25-9, 25-18, 25-21. The Rams next game is Sept. 30 at home against Olive Harvey.
