Students convened for Wilburpalooza on Tuesday, an event SGA hosted where students could meet various clubs and play games for tickets to redeem prizes. First year student Amber Ruiz said about Wilburpalooza, “It definitely seems successful, I did not see other events before that had such good turnout.”
Whether it was puzzle games, chess, or a dance simulator the clubs had a variety of way for students to enjoy themselves. Theater major Danny Blair said, “The Just Dance simulator is the most interesting thing I’ve seen for sure.”
Engineering student Aidan Luna said the most interesting thing he saw was the variety of games. “I saw blackjack, chess, and some other arcade games, it’s definitely enjoyable for my first time here.”
SGA hosts weekly Wright Around the World events Tuesdays from 2 p.m until 3 p.m. On September 30 SGA will host a Paint and Sip Cantaritos Event to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
