In honor of LGBTQ+ History Month, the Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) club at Wright partnered with the Student Government Association (SGA) to host an event celebrating the history, identity, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community!

The event gave students a space to learn and engage with LGBTQ+ history via Kahoot quizzes covering the meaning of gender identity, important figures in the LGBTQ+ community, and the communities’ history in Chicago.

“I feel like the importance is in that everyone here can express themselves way better,” noted Ethan Faulkner, a first-year political science major.

After the Kahoot games ended, attendees played bingo, giving students another opportunity to enjoy the event. Shiv Patel, a first-year finance major reflects, “everyone is here, and so happy. Enjoying the food and enjoying the games”
